Design Made For Ethics
Research ProjectDark patterns (also known as Deceptive Design) are online interface designs crafted intentionally
by designers and profit-orientated companies to manipulate users into doing things they would
not otherwise do under normal circumstances.
These designs can be considered unethical and harmful to a user’s experience. In response to the ongoing phenomenon of dark patterns, I created a set of poster zines to spread a personal manifesto and guide to educate and remind designers how important ethical design is.
